Our good friend Steve Barbour is here to remind us that despite the fact that we have incredible technology and perceived wealth today, we live in a high velocity trash economy that favors quick gains over arduous endeavors that lead to lasting impacts that affect humans who will be born in the next century. Everywhere one looks are signs of mediocrity and decay that are masked by technological advancement that has happened in spite of a terribly broken system.
