Thought of the week from Marty Bent:
The people in control use the fear of the masses to take away civil liberties. It happened this week. We got the aftermath of 9/11 and the 2008 crisis rolled into one. Civil liberties were trampled and a corrupt elite class was bailed out. It’s time to opt out.
Also, if you haven’t noticed, the people “in control” don’t really have control of anything but your minds.
Thought of the week from Matt Odell:
“if speech is not independent and untrammeled, if the mind is shackled or made impotent through fear, it makes no difference under what form of government you live, you are a subject and not a citizen”
-- Senator Borah, April 1917
